Detective Foyle Shirt
I happened to spot an item in The Telegraph today. In the Ask Hilary section a reader has enquired where he could buy a 40s style shirt as worn by Dectective Foyle (pictured) from the TV show Foyles War.
The answer gave two suggestions:
(1) Brooks Brothers, 150 Regent Street, London offer a made to measure service.
(2) Turnbull & Asser, 71-72 Jermyn Street, London offers a fully bespoke service.
Note that Jermyn Street is famed for it’s shirt makers. I’ll publish another post about that in due course.
